Jolly Good Ale And Old Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEDEGE HIJIKELEM NOMOPBQ M CRSRTRURDRGR

I cannot eat but little meatA
My stomach is not goodB
But sure I think that I can drinkC
With him that wears a hoodB
Though I go bare take ye no careD
I nothing am a coldE
I stuff my skin so full withinF
Of jolly good ale and oldE
Back and side go bare go bareD
Both foot and hand go coldE
But belly God send thee good ale enoughG
Whether it be new or oldE
-
I love no roast but a nut brown toastH
And a crab laid in the fireI
A little bread shall do me steadJ
Much bread I not desireI
No frost nor snow no wind I trowK
Can hurt me if I woldE
I am so wrapp'd and thoroughly lapp'dL
Of jolly good ale and oldE
Back and side go bare go bare cM
-
And Tib my wife that as her lifeN
Loveth well good ale to seekO
Full oft drinks she till ye may seeM
The tears run down her cheekO
Then doth she trowl to me the bowlP
Even as a maltworm shouldB
And saith 'Sweetheart I took my partQ
Of this jolly good ale and old '-
Back and side go bare go bare cM
-
Now let them drink till they nod and winkC
Even as good fellows should doR
They shall not miss to have the blissS
Good ale doth bring men toR
And all poor souls that have scour'd bowlsT
Or have them lustily troll'dR
God save the lives of them and their wivesU
Whether they be young or oldR
Back and side go bare go bareD
Both foot and hand go coldR
But belly God send thee good ale enoughG
Whether it be new or oldR
