The Sonnets Xlvi - Mine Eye And Heart Are At A Mortal War Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDEBBBBBB

Mine eye and heart are at a mortal warA
How to divide the conquest of thy sightB
Mine eye my heart thy picture's sight would barC
My heart mine eye the freedom of that rightB
My heart doth plead that thou in him dost lieD
A closet never pierc'd with crystal eyesE
But the defendant doth that plea denyD
And says in him thy fair appearance liesE
To side this title is impannelledB
A quest of thoughts all tenants to the heartB
And by their verdict is determinedB
The clear eye's moiety and the dear heart's partB
As thus mine eye's due is thy outward partB
And my heart's right thy inward love of heartB
