The Sonnets Lxii - Sin Of Self-love Possesseth All Mine Eye Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDEFCGCHH

Sin of self love possesseth all mine eyeA
And all my soul and all my every partB
And for this sin there is no remedyC
It is so grounded inward in my heartB
Methinks no face so gracious is as mineD
No shape so true no truth of such accountE
And for myself mine own worth do defineD
As I all other in all worths surmountE
But when my glass shows me myself indeedF
Beated and chopp'd with tanned antiquityC
Mine own self love quite contrary I readG
Self so self loving were iniquityC
'Tis thee myself that for myself I praiseH
Painting my age with beauty of thy daysH
