The Sonnets Cxliii - Lo, As A Careful Housewife Runs To Catch Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGH

Lo as a careful housewife runs to catchA
One of her feather'd creatures broke awayB
Sets down her babe and makes all swift dispatchA
In pursuit of the thing she would have stayB
Whilst her neglected child holds her in chaseC
Cries to catch her whose busy care is bentD
To follow that which flies before her faceC
Not prizing her poor infant's discontentD
So runn'st thou after that which flies from theeE
Whilst I thy babe chase thee afar behindF
But if thou catch thy hope turn back to meE
And play the mother's part kiss me be kindF
So will I pray that thou mayst have thy 'Will 'G
If thou turn back and my loud crying stillH
