The Sonnets Cvi - When In The Chronicle Of Wasted Time Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDBEBEBB

When in the chronicle of wasted timeA
I see descriptions of the fairest wightsB
And beauty making beautiful old rimeA
In praise of ladies dead and lovely knightsB
Then in the blazon of sweet beauty's bestC
Of hand of foot of lip of eye of browD
I see their antique pen would have express'dC
Even such a beauty as you master nowD
So all their praises are but propheciesB
Of this our time all you prefiguringE
And for they looked but with divining eyesB
They had not skill enough your worth to singE
For we which now behold these present daysB
Have eyes to wonder but lack tongues to praiseB
