Sonnet Xxx: When To The Sessions Of Sweet Silent Thought Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDEFGHIJJ

When to the sessions of sweet silent thoughtA
I summon up remembrance of things pastB
I sigh the lack of many a thing I soughtA
And with old woes new wail my dear times' wasteC
Then can I drown an eye unus'd to flowD
For precious friends hid in death's dateless nightE
And weep afresh love's long since cancell'd woeD
And moan the expense of many a vanish'd sightE
Then can I grieve at grievances foregoneF
And heavily from woe to woe tell o'erG
The sad account of fore bemoan d moanH
Which I new pay as if not paid beforeI
But if the while I think on thee dear friendJ
All losses are restor'd and sorrows endJ
