Sonnet Vii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDFGHGHIJLo in the orient when the gracious light | A |
Lifts up his burning head each under eye | B |
Doth homage to his new appearing sight | A |
Serving with looks his sacred majesty | C |
And having climb'd the steep up heavenly hill | D |
Resembling strong youth in his middle age | E |
yet mortal looks adore his beauty still | D |
Attending on his golden pilgrimage | F |
But when from highmost pitch with weary car | G |
Like feeble age he reeleth from the day | H |
The eyes 'fore duteous now converted are | G |
From his low tract and look another way | H |
So thou thyself out going in thy noon | I |
Unlook'd on diest unless thou get a son | J |
