Sonnet Lxxxv Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDEDFGHGII| My tongue tied Muse in manners holds her still | A |
| While comments of your praise richly compiled | B |
| Reserve their character with golden quill | A |
| And precious phrase by all the Muses filed | B |
| I think good thoughts whilst other write good words | C |
| And like unletter'd clerk still cry 'Amen' | D |
| To every hymn that able spirit affords | E |
| In polish'd form of well refined pen | D |
| Hearing you praised I say ''Tis so 'tis true ' | F |
| And to the most of praise add something more | G |
| But that is in my thought whose love to you | H |
| Though words come hindmost holds his rank before | G |
| Then others for the breath of words respect | I |
| Me for my dumb thoughts speaking in effect | I |
