Sonnet Lxv Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGG

Since brass nor stone nor earth nor boundless seaA
But sad mortality o'er sways their powerB
How with this rage shall beauty hold a pleaA
Whose action is no stronger than a flowerB
O how shall summer's honey breath hold outC
Against the wreckful siege of battering daysD
When rocks impregnable are not so stoutC
Nor gates of steel so strong but Time decaysD
O fearful meditation where alackE
Shall Time's best jewel from Time's chest lie hidF
Or what strong hand can hold his swift foot backE
Or who his spoil of beauty can forbidF
O none unless this miracle have mightG
That in black ink my love may still shine brightG
