Sonnet Lv Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDEEFEFGG

Not marble nor the gilded monumentsA
Of princes shall outlive this powerful rhymeB
But you shall shine more bright in these contentsC
Than unswept stone besmear'd with sluttish timeB
When wasteful war shall statues overturnD
And broils root out the work of masonryE
Nor Mars his sword nor war's quick fire shall burnD
The living record of your memoryE
'Gainst death and all oblivious enmityE
Shall you pace forth your praise shall still find roomF
Even in the eyes of all posterityE
That wear this world out to the ending doomF
So till the judgment that yourself ariseG
You live in this and dwell in lover's eyesG
