Sonnet Li Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDAEAEDD

Thus can my love excuse the slow offenceA
Of my dull bearer when from thee I speedB
From where thou art why should I haste me thenceA
Till I return of posting is no needB
O what excuse will my poor beast then findC
When swift extremity can seem but slowD
Then should I spur though mounted on the windC
In winged speed no motion shall I knowD
Then can no horse with my desire keep paceA
Therefore desire of perfect'st love being madeE
Shall neigh no dull flesh in his fiery raceA
But love for love thus shall excuse my jadeE
Since from thee going he went wilful slowD
Towards thee I'll run and give him leave to goD
