Sonnet 14: Not From The Stars Do I My Judgement Pluck Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACDEDEFGFHII

Not from the stars do I my judgement pluckA
And yet methinks I have astronomy mdashB
But not to tell of good or evil luckA
Of plagues of dearths or seasons' qualityC
Nor can I fortune to brief minutes tellD
'Pointing to each his thunder rain and windE
Or say with princes if it shall go wellD
By oft predict that I in heaven findE
But from thine eyes my knowledge I deriveF
And constant stars in them I read such artG
As truth and beauty shall together thriveF
If from thy self to store thou wouldst convertH
Or else of thee this I prognosticateI
Thy end is truth's and beauty's doom and dateI
