Sonnet 132: Thine Eyes I Love, And They, As Pitying Me Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDEFGHGHII

Thine eyes I love and they as pitying meA
Knowing thy heart torment me with disdainB
Have put on black and loving mourners beA
Looking with pretty ruth upon my painB
And truly not the morning sun of heavenC
Better becomes the grey cheeks of the eastD
Nor that full star that ushers in the evenE
Doth half that glory to the sober westF
As those two mourning eyes become thy faceG
O let it then as well beseem thy heartH
To mourn for me since mourning doth thee graceG
And suit thy pity like in every partH
Then will I swear beauty herself is blackI
And all they foul that thy complexion lackI
