Sonnet 119: What Potions Have I Drunk Of Siren Tears Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDEFEFEGG

What potions have I drunk of Siren tearsA
Distilled from limbecks foul as hell withinB
Applying fears to hopes and hopes to fearsC
Still losing when I saw my self to winB
What wretched errors hath my heart committedD
Whilst it hath thought it self so bless egrave d neverE
How have mine eyes out of their spheres been fittedD
In the distraction of this madding feverE
O benefit of ill now I find trueF
That better is by evil still made betterE
And ruined love when it is built anewF
Grows fairer than at first more strong far greaterE
So I return rebuked to my contentG
And gain by ills thrice more than I have spentG
