Sonnet 077: Thy Glass Will Show Thee How Thy Beauties Wear Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGG

Thy glass will show thee how thy beauties wearA
Thy dial how thy precious minutes wasteB
These vacant leaves thy mind's imprint will bearA
And of this book this learning mayst thou tasteB
The wrinkles which thy glass will truly showC
Of mouth egrave d graves will give thee memoryD
Thou by thy dial's shady stealth mayst knowC
Time's thievish progress to eternityD
Look what thy memory cannot containE
Commit to these waste blanks and thou shalt findF
Those children nursed delivered from thy brainE
To take a new acquaintance of thy mindF
These offices so oft as thou wilt lookG
Shall profit thee and much enrich thy bookG
