Sonnet 068: Thus Is His Cheek The Map Of Days Outworn Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAABCBCADADEE

Thus is his cheek the map of days outwornA
When beauty lived and died as flowers do nowA
Before these bastard signs of fair were bornA
Or durst inhabit on a living browA
Before the golden tresses of the deadB
The right of sepulchres were shorn awayC
To live a second life on second headB
Ere beauty's dead fleece made another gayC
In him those holy antique hours are seenA
Without all ornament itself and trueD
Making no summer of another's greenA
Robbing no old to dress his beauty newD
And him as for a map doth Nature storeE
To show false Art what beauty was of yoreE
