Sonnet 046: Mine Eye And Heart Are At A Mortal War Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDEFGFGGG

Mine eye and heart are at a mortal warA
How to divide the conquest of thy sightB
Mine eye my heart thy picture's sight would barC
My heart mine eye the freedom of that rightB
My heart doth plead that thou in him dost lieD
A closet never pierced with crystal eyesE
But the defendant doth that plea denyD
And says in him thy fair appearance liesE
To 'cide this title is impanell egrave dF
A quest of thoughts all tenants to the heartG
And by their verdict is determin egrave dF
The clear eye's moiety and the dear heart's partG
As thus mine eye's due is thy outward partG
And my heart's right thy inward love of heartG
