Sonnet 037: As A Decrepit Father Takes Delight Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFGHII

As a decrepit father takes delightA
To see his active child do deeds of youthB
So I made lame by Fortune's dearest spiteA
Take all my comfort of thy worth and truthB
For whether beauty birth or wealth or witC
Or any of these all or all or moreD
Entitled in thy parts do crown egrave d sitC
I make my love engrafted to this storeD
So then I am not lame poor nor despisedE
Whilst that this shadow doth such substance giveF
That I in thy abundance am sufficedG
And by a part of all thy glory liveH
Look what is best that best I wish in theeI
This wish I have then ten times happy meI
