Sonnet 005: Those Hours, That With Gentle Work Did Frame Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDEDFGFHII

Those hours that with gentle work did frameA
The lovely gaze where every eye doth dwellB
Will play the tyrants to the very sameA
And that unfair which fairly doth excelB
For never resting Time leads summer onC
To hideous winter and confounds him thereD
Sap checked with frost and lusty leaves quite goneE
Beauty o'ersnowed and bareness everywhereD
Then were not summer's distillation leftF
A liquid prisoner pent in walls of glassG
Beauty's effect with beauty were bereftF
Nor it nor no remembrance what it wasH
But flowers distilled though they with winter meetI
Leese but their show their substance still lives sweetI
