Stanzas For Music Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH

I trust the happy hour will comeA
That shall to peace thy breast restoreB
And that we two beloved friendC
Shall one day meet to part no moreB
-
It grieves me most that parting thusD
All my soul feels I dare not speakE
And when I turn me from thy sightF
The tears in silence wet my cheekE
-
Yet I look forward to the timeG
That shall each wound of sorrow healH
When I may press thee to my heartI
And tell thee all that now I feelH
