Oxford Revisited Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACCDEEDFEEF

I never hear the sound of thy glad bellsA
Oxford and chime harmonious but I sayB
Sighing to think how time has worn awayB
Some spirit speaks in the sweet tone that swellsA
Heard after years of absence from the valeC
Where Cherwell winds Most true it speaks the taleC
Of days departed and its voice recallsD
Hours of delight and hope in the gay tideE
Of life and many friends now scattered wideE
By many fates Peace be within thy wallsD
I have scarce heart to visit thee but yetF
Denied the joys sought in thy shades deniedE
Each better hope since my poor Harriet diedE
What I have owed to thee my heart can ne'er forgetF
