In Horto Rev. J. Still, - Apud Knoyle, Villam Amoenissimam. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLA| Stranger a while beneath this aged tree | A |
| Rest thee the hills beyond and flowery meads | B |
| Surveying and if Nature's charms may wake | C |
| A sweet and silent transport at thine heart | D |
| In spring time whilst the bee hums heedless nigh | E |
| Rejoice for thee the verdant spot is dressed | F |
| Circled with laurels green and sprinkled o'er | G |
| With many a budding rose the shrubs all ring | H |
| To the birds' warblings and by fits the air | I |
| Whispers amid the foliage o'er thine head | J |
| Rejoice and oh if life's sweet spring be thine | K |
| So gather its brief rose buds and deceive | L |
| The cares and crosses of humanity | A |
