Killarney Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABC DAEFGA HAHIHI AHJKJL MNONHN

Is there one desires to hearA
If within the shores of EireA
Eyes may still behold the sceneB
Far from Fand's enticementsC
-
Let him seek the southern hillsD
And those lakes of loveliest waterA
Where the richest blooms of SpringE
Burn to reddest AutumnF
And the clearest echo singsG
Notes a goddess taught herA
-
Ah 't was very long agoH
And the words are now denied herA
But the purple hillsides knowH
Still the tones delightsomeI
And their breasts impassioned glowH
As were Fand beside themI
-
And though many an isle be fairA
Fairer still is InnisfallenH
Since the hour Cuchullain layJ
In the bower enchantedK
See the ash that waves to dayJ
Fand its grandsire plantedL
-
When from wave to mountain topM
All delight thy sense bewildersN
Thou shalt own the wonders wroughtO
Once by her skilled fingersN
Still though many an age be goneH
Round Killarney lingersN
