The Rain Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDE FBGBHH

I hear leaves drinking rainA
I hear rich leaves on topB
Giving the poor beneathC
Drop after dropB
'Tis a sweet noise to hearD
These green leaves drinking nearE
-
And when the Sun comes outF
After this Rain shall stopB
A wondrous Light will fillG
Each dark round dropB
I hope the Sun shines brightH
'Twill be a lovely sightH
