The Mind's Liberty Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHIHJKKK

The mind with its own eyes and earsA
May for these others have no careB
No matter where this body isC
The mind is free to go elsewhereB
My mind can be a sailor whenD
This body's still confined to landE
And turn these mortals into treesF
That walk in Fleet Street or the StrandE
-
So when I'm passing Charing CrossG
Where porters work both night and dayH
I ofttimes hear sweet Malpas BrookI
That flows thrice fifty miles awayH
And when I'm passing near St Paul'sJ
I see beyond the dome and crowdK
Twm Barlum that green pap in GwentK
With its dark nipple in a cloudK
