The Flood Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCCB DEFGGH IIJKKJ

I thought my true love sleptA
Behind her chair I creptA
And pulled out a long pinB
The golden flood came outC
She shook it all aboutC
With both our faces inB
-
Ah little wren I knowD
Your mossy small nest nowE
A windy cold place isF
No eye can see my faceG
Howe'er it watch the placeG
Where I half drown in blissH
-
When I am drowned hald deadI
She laughs and shakes her headI
Flogged by her hair waves IJ
Withdraw my face from thereK
But never once I swearK
She heard a mercy cryJ
