Rhyme Scheme: ABCBC ADEDE AFGFG AHIHI

Man is a birdA
He rises on fine wingsB
Into the Heaven's clear lightC
He flies away and singsB
There's music in his flightC
-
Man is a birdA
In swiftest speed he burnsD
With twist and dive and leapE
A bird whose sudden turnsD
Can drive the frightened sheepE
-
Man is a birdA
Over the mountain highF
Whose head is in the skiesG
Cut from its shoulder byF
A cloud the bird man fliesG
-
Man is a birdA
Eagles from mountain cragH
Swooped down to prove his worthI
But now they rise to dragH
Him down from Heaven to earthI
