Love's Inspiration Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEBE FGHGIJKL

Give me the chance and I will makeA
Thy thoughts of me like worms this dayB
Take wings and change to butterfliesC
That in the golden light shall playB
Thy cold clear heart the quiet poolD
That never heard Love's nightingaleE
Shall hear his music night and dayB
And in no seasons shall it failE
-
I'll make thy happy heart my portF
Where all my thoughts are anchored fastG
Thy meditations full of praiseH
The flags of glory on each mastG
I'll make my Soul thy shepherd soonI
With all thy thoughts my grateful flockJ
And thou shalt say each time I goK
How long my Love ere thou'lt come backL
