Love And The Muse Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH

My back is turned on Spring and all her flowersA
The birds no longer charm from tree to treeB
The cuckoo had his home in this green worldC
Ten days before his voice was heard by meB
-
Had I an answer from a dear one's lipsD
My love of life would soon regain its powerE
And suckle my sweet dreams that tug my heartF
And whimper to be nourished every hourE
-
Give me that answer now and then my MuseG
That for my sweet life's sake must never dieH
Will rise like that great wave that leaps and hangsI
The sea weed on a vessel's mast top highH
