Joy Supreme Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFG HBIBJKLK MBKBNOPO

The birds are pirates of her notesA
The blossoms steal her face's lightB
The stars in ambush lie all dayC
To take her glances for the nightB
Her voice can shame rain pelted leavesD
Young robin has no notes as sweetE
In autumn when the air is stillF
And all the other birds are muteG
-
When I set eyes on ripe red plumsH
That seem a sin and shame to biteB
Such are her lips which I would kissI
And still would keep before my sightB
When I behold proud gossamerJ
Make silent billows in the airK
Then think I of her head's fine stuffL
Finer than gossamer's I swearK
-
The miser has his joy with goldM
Beneath his pillow in the nightB
My head shall lie on soft warm hairK
And miser's know not that delightB
Captains that own their ships can boastN
Their joy to feel the rolling brineO
But I shall lie near her and feelP
Her soft warm bosom swell on mineO
