A Fleeting Passion Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFE GHIHJKLK

Thou shalt not laugh thou shalt not rompA
Let's grimly kiss with bated breathB
As quietly and solemnlyC
As Life when it is kissing DeathB
Now in the silence of the graveD
My hand is squeezing that soft breastE
While thou dost in such passion lieF
It mocks me with its look of restE
-
But when the morning comes at lastG
And we must part our passions coldH
You'll think of some new feather scarfI
To buy with my small piece of goldH
And I'll be dreaming of green lanesJ
Where little things with beating heartsK
Hold shining eyes between the leavesL
Till men with horses pass and cartsK
