Waiting Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH CIJK

A square squat room a cellar on promotionA
Drab to the soul drab to the very daylightB
Plasters astray in unnatural looking tinwareC
Scissors and lint and apothecary's jarsD
-
Here on a bench a skeleton would writhe fromE
Angry and sore I wait to be admittedF
Wait till my heart is lead upon my stomachG
While at their ease two dressers do their choresH
-
One has a probe it feels to me a crowbarC
A small boy sniffs and shudders after bluestoneI
A poor old tramp explains his poor old ulcersJ
Life is I think a blunder and a shameK
