Some Starlit Garden Grey With Dew Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CADA EFEF GHGH

Some starlit garden grey with dewA
Some chamber flushed with wine and fireB
What matters where so I and youA
Are worthy our desireB
-
Behind a past that scolds and jeersC
For ungirt loins and lamps unlitA
In front the unmanageable yearsD
The trap upon the PitA
-
Think on the shame of dreams for deedsE
The scandal of unnatural strifeF
The slur upon immortal needsE
The treason done to lifeF
-
Arise no more a living lieG
And with me quicken and controlH
Some memory that shall magnifyG
The universal SoulH
