Orientale Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDECDE

She's an enchanting little IsraeliteA
A world of hidden dimples Dusky eyedB
A starry glancing daughter of the BrideB
With hair escaped from some Arabian NightA
Her lip is red her cheek is golden whiteA
Her nose a scimitar and set asideB
The bamboo hat she cocks with so much prideB
Her dress a dream of daintiness and delightA
And when she passes with the dreadful boysC
And romping girls the cockneys loud and crudeD
My thought to the Minories tied yet moved to rangeE
The Land o' the Sun commingles with the noiseC
Of magian drums and scents of sandalwoodD
A touch Sidonian modern taking strangeE
