O Time and Change they range and rangeB
From sunshine round to thunderC
They glance and go as the great winds blowD
And the best of our dreams drive underC
For Time and Change estrange estrangeB
And now they have looked and seen usE
O we that were dear we are all too nearF
With the thick of the world between usE
-
O Death and Time they chime and chimeG
Like bells at sunset fallingH
They end the song they right the wrongI
They set the old echoes callingH
For Death and Time bring on the primeG
Of God's own chosen weatherC
And we lie in the peace of the Great ReleaseJ
As once in the grass togetherC
