Epilogue Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHI JKLMNOJPJQRS

These to you now O more than ever nowA
Now that the Ancient EnemyB
Has passed and we we two that are one have seenC
A piece of perfect LifeD
Turn to so ravishing a shape of DeathE
The Arch Discomforter might well have smiledF
In pity and prideG
Even as he bore his lovely and innocent spoilH
From those home kingdoms he left desolateI
-
Poor windlestrawsJ
On the great sullen roaring pool of TimeK
And Chance and Change I knowL
But they are yours as I am till we attainM
That end for which me make we two that are oneN
A little exquisite GhostO
Between us smiling with the serenest eyesJ
Seen in this world and calling calling stillP
In that clear voice whose infinite subtletiesJ
Of sweetness thrilling back across the graveQ
Break the poor heart to hearR
'Come Dadsie comeS
Mama how long how long '-
