Discharged Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DEEEEFEE GEHIJKEELEJM ENEC

Carry me outA
Into the wind and the sunshineB
Into the beautiful worldC
-
O the wonder the spell of the streetsD
The stature and strength of the horsesE
The rustle and echo of footfallsE
The flat roar and rattle of wheelsE
A swift tram floats huge on usE
It's a dreamF
The smell of the mud in my nostrilsE
Blows brave like a breath of the seaE
-
As of oldG
Ambulant undulant draperyE
Vaguery and strangely provocativeH
Fluttersd and beckons O yonderI
Is it the gleam of a stockingJ
Sudden a spireK
Wedged in the mist O the housesE
The long lines of lofty grey housesE
Cross hatched with shadow and lightL
These are the streetsE
Each is an avenue leadingJ
Whither I willM
-
FreeE
Dizzy hysterical faintN
I sit and the carriage rolls on with meE
Into the wonderful worldC
