Barmaid Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEDEFGFGHH

Though if you ask her name she says EliseA
Being plain Elizabeth e'en let it passB
And own that if her aspirates take their easeC
She ever makes a point in washing glassB
Handling the engine turning taps for totsD
And countering change and scorning what men sayE
Of posing as a dove among the potsD
Nor often gives her dignity awayE
Her head's a work of art and if her eyesF
Be tired and ignorant she has a waistG
Cheaply the Mode she shadows and she triesF
From penny novels to amend her tasteG
And having mopped the zinc for certain yearsH
And faced the gas she fades and disappearsH
