A Child Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFCGFHFFIJK LCMFNO

A childA
Curious and innocentB
Slips from his Nurse and rejoicingC
Loses himself in the FairD
-
Thro' the jostle and dinE
Wandering he revelsF
Dreaming desiring possessingC
Till of a suddenG
Tired and afraid he beholdsF
The sordid assemblageH
Just as it is and he runsF
With a sob to his NurseF
Lighting at last on himI
And in her motherly bosomJ
Cries him to sleepK
-
Thus thro' the WorldL
Seeing and feeling and knowingC
Goes Man till at lastM
Tired of experience he turnsF
To the friendly and comforting breastN
Of the old nurse DeathO
