Summons To Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBBCCBDEEEFF GHIGHJIKLJMAMAAEEHNH EEEEOOPPQR

Phoebus ariseA
And paint the sable skiesA
With azure white and redB
Rouse Memnon's mother from her Tithon's bedB
That she may thy career with roses spreadB
The nightingales thy coming each where singC
Make an eternal springC
Give life to this dark world which lieth deadB
Spread forth thy golden hairD
In larger locks than thou wast wont beforeE
And emperor like decoreE
With diadem of pearl thy temples fairE
Chase hence the ugly nightF
Which serves but to make dear thy glorious lightF
-
This is that happy mornG
That day long wished dayH
Of all my life so darkI
If cruel stars have not my ruin swornG
And fates my hopes betrayH
Which purely white deservesJ
An everlasting diamond should it markI
This is the morn should bring unto this groveK
My Love to hear and recompense my loveL
Fair King who all preservesJ
But show thy blushing beamsM
And thou two sweeter eyesA
Shalt see than those which by Peneus' streamsM
Did once thy heart surpriseA
Now Flora deck thyself in fairest guiseA
If that ye winds would hearE
A voice surpassing far Amphion's lyreE
Your furious chiding stayH
Let Zephyr only breatheN
And with her tresses playH
The winds all silent areE
And Phoebus in his chairE
Ensaffroning sea and airE
Makes vanish every starE
Night like a drunkard reelsO
Beyond the hills to shun his flaming wheelsO
The fields with flowers are decked in every hueP
The clouds with orient gold spangle their blueP
Here is the pleasant placeQ
And nothing wanting is save She alasR
