On Pedigree. From Epicharmus Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJKLMHNJOPQ

My mother if thou love me name no moreA
My noble birth Sounding at every breathB
My noble birth thou kill'st me Thither flyC
As to their only refuge all from whomD
Nature withholds all good besides they boastE
Their noble birth conduct us to the tombsF
Of their forefathers and from age to ageG
Ascending trumpet their illustrious raceH
But whom hast thou beheld or canst thou nameI
Derived from no forefathers Such a manJ
Lives not for how could such be born at allK
And if it chance that native of a landL
Far distant or in infancy deprivedM
Of all his kindred one who cannot traceH
His origin exist why deem him sprungN
From baser ancestry than theirs who canJ
My mother he whom nature at his birthO
Endow'd with virtuous qualities althoughP
An thiop and a slave is nobly bornQ
