On A Mischievous Bull, Which The Owner Of Him Sold At The Author's Instance. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDF GHGH IJIK LMLM NONO

Go thou art all unfit to shareA
The pleasures of this placeB
With such as its old tenants areC
Creatures of gentler raceB
-
-
The squirrel here his hoard providesD
Aware of wintry stormsE
And woodpeckers explore the sidesD
Of rugged oaks for wormsF
-
-
The sheep here smooths the knotted thornG
With frictions of her fleeceH
And here I wander eve and mornG
Like her a friend to peaceH
-
-
Ah I could pity thee exiledI
From this secure retreatJ
I would not lose it to be styledI
The happiest of the greatK
-
-
But thou canst taste no calm delightL
Thy pleasure is to showM
Thy magnanimity in fightL
Thy prowess therefore goM
-
-
I care not whether east or northN
So I no more may find theeO
The angry muse thus sings thee forthN
And claps the gate behind theeO
