Rhyme Scheme: A BCDC EFEG HAHA EIJI KAKA LMNM

Exodus xvA
-
Heal us Emmanuel here we areB
Waiting to feel Thy touchC
Deep wounded souls to Thee repairD
And Saviour we are suchC
-
Our faith is feeble we confessE
We faintly trust Thy wordF
But wilt Thou pity us the lessE
Be that far from Thee LordG
-
Remember him who once appliedH
With trembling for reliefA
Lord I believe with tears he criedH
Oh help my unbeliefA
-
She too who touch'd Thee in the pressE
And healing virtue stoleI
Was answer'd Daughter go in peaceJ
Thy faith hath made thee wholeI
-
Conceal'd amid the gathering throngK
She would have shunn'd Thy viewA
And if her faith was firm and strongK
Had strong misgivings tooA
-
Like her with hopes and fears we comeL
To touch Thee if we mayM
Oh send us not despairing homeN
Send none unheal'd awayM
