Happy Solitude--unhappy Men Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEFF GHII

My heart is easy and my burden lightA
I smile though sad when thou art in my sightA
The more my woes in secret I deploreB
I taste thy goodness and I love thee moreB
-
There while a solemn stillness reigns aroundC
Faith love and hope within my soul aboundC
And while the world suppose me lost in careD
The joys of angels unperceived I shareD
-
Thy creatures wrong thee O thou sovereign goodE
Thou art not loved because not understoodE
This grieves me most that vain pursuits beguileF
Ungrateful men regardless of thy smileF
-
Frail beauty and false honour are adoredG
While Thee they scorn and trifle with thy WordH
Pass unconcerned a Saviour's sorrows byI
And hunt their ruin with a zeal to dieI
