Grace And Providence Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CDEF GGHH IJKK LLMB

Almighty King whose wondrous handA
Supports the weight of sea and landA
Whose grace is such a boundless storeB
No heart shall break that sighs for moreB
-
Thy providence supplies my foodC
And 'tis Thy blessing makes it goodD
My soul is nourish'd by Thy WordE
Let soul and body praise the LordF
-
My streams of outward comfort cameG
From Him who built this earthly frameG
Whate'er I want His bounty givesH
By whom my soul forever livesH
-
Either His hand preserves from painI
Or if I feel it heals againJ
From Satan's malice shields my breastK
Or overrules it for the bestK
-
Forgive the song that falls so lowL
Beneath the gratitude I oweL
It means Thy praise however poorM
An angel's song can do no moreB
