Dirge In Cymbeline Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBC DEFG HIHI JKJK LMLM NANA

SUNG BY GUIDERUS AND ARVIGARUS OVER FIDELE SUPPOSED TO BE DEADA
-
TO fair Fidele's grassy tombB
Soft maids and village hinds shall bringC
Each opening sweet of earliest bloomB
And rifle all the breathing springC
-
No wailing ghost shall dare appearD
To vex with shrieks this quiet groveE
But shepherd lads assemble hereF
And melting virgins own their loveG
-
No wither'd witch shall here be seenH
No goblins lead their nightly crewI
The female fays shall haunt the greenH
And dress thy grave with pearly dewI
-
The redbreast oft at evening hoursJ
Shall kindly lend his little aidK
With hoary moss and gather'd flowersJ
To deck the ground where thou art laidK
-
When howling winds and beating rainL
In tempests shake thy sylvan cellM
Or 'midst the chase on every plainL
The tender thought on thee shall dwellM
-
Each lonely scene shall thee restoreN
For thee the tear be duly shedA
Belov'd till life can charm no moreN
And mourn'd till Pity's self be deadA
