Old Memory Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEFGH

O thought fly to her when the end of dayA
Awakens an old memory and sayA
'Your strength that is so lofty and fierce and kindB
It might call up a new age calling to mindB
The queens that were imagined long agoC
Is but half yours he kneaded in the doughC
Through the long years of youth and who would have thoughtD
It all and more than it all would come to naughtD
And that dear words meant nothing ' But enoughE
For when we have blamed the wind we can blame loveF
Or if there needs be more be nothing saidG
That would be harsh for children that have strayedH
