Visions - Sonnet - 1 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGG

I saw a silver swan swim down the LeaA
Singing a sad farewell unto the valeB
While fishes leapt to hear her melodyA
And on each thorn a gentle nightingaleB
And many other birds forbore their notesC
Leaping from tree to tree as she alongD
The panting bosom of the current floatsC
Rapt with the music of her dying songD
When from a thick and all entangled springE
A neatherd rude came with no small adoF
Dreading an ill presage to hear her singE
And quickly struck her tender neck in twoF
Whereat the birds methought flew thence with speedG
And inly griev'd for such a cruel deedG
