The Sirens' Song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCDDEE FGFGHHIIEE

Steer hither steer your wing egrave d pinesA
All beaten marinersB
Here lie Love's undiscover'd minesA
A prey to passengersB
Perfumes far sweeter than the bestC
Which make the Phoenix' urn and nestC
Fear not your shipsD
Nor any to oppose you save our lipsD
But come on shoreE
Where no joy dies till Love hath gotten moreE
-
For swelling waves our panting breastsF
Where never storms ariseG
Exchange and be awhile our guestsF
For stars gaze on our eyesG
The compass Love shall hourly singH
And as he goes about the ringH
We will not missI
To tell each point he nameth with a kissI
Then come on shoreE
Where no joy dies till Love hath gotten moreE
