A Round Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBD EFEF GHGH EIEI A JKEEK

AllA
-
Now that the Spring hath fill'd our veinsB
With kind and active fireC
And made green liv'ries for the plainsB
And every grove a quireD
-
Sing me a song of merry gleeE
And Bacchus fill the bowlF
Then here's to thee And thou to meE
And every thirsty soulF
-
Nor Care nor Sorrow e'er paid debtG
Nor never shall do mineH
I have no cradle going yetG
Not I by this good wineH
-
No wife at home to send for meE
No hogs are in my groundI
No suit in law to pay a feeE
Then round old Jocky roundI
-
AllA
-
Shear sheep that have them cry we stillJ
But see that no man 'scapeK
To drink of the sherryE
That makes us so merryE
And plump as the lusty grapeK
